Margaret (Margo) Owen Ruckert is a Sydney based poet, writer and educator.

A science teacher, specialising in Biology, she transferred from high schools to TAFE where she taught full-time at various colleges around NSW for almost 25 years.

During this time she published articles on science teaching pedagogy and wrote a current affairs column for the college newsletter.

Following redundancy, she retrained in TESOL, Literacy and Numeracy and has taught English to all ages.

Previous positions include computer teacher, typing teacher, taxation clerk, music teacher and church organist. Currently Margo tutors Literacy and Numeracy.
